POcontrol client Harvey Nash to Create 200 Jobs in Vietnam with Launch of New Wireless Technology Centre

Vietnam, 20th January, 2009 - Two hundred high technology jobs will be created with the launch of a world leading wireless technology centre, opened today by Harvey Nash plc in Ho Chi Minh City. A further 20-30 jobs will be created to staff a development centre for Stepstone plc, a major global HR software provider.

As part of a EUR 54 million deal with Alcatel-Lucent (Germany), Harvey Nash is expanding its operations in Vietnam to provide next generation wireless research and development solutions to clients from around the world.

The centre is being opened by the British Minister of State for Trade & Investment, Mr Gareth Thomas MP, during an official visit to Vietnam where he will also call on H.E. Mr Nguyen Tan Dung, Vietnamese Prime Minister to discuss local and international trade and investment matters between the two countries.
